Mihai Tudose nu îi dă şanse lui Geoană: ”Dacă vă duceţi în lumea reală şi pomeniţi de secretarul general adjunct al NATO, se opreşte câinele din lătrat”

Europarlamentarul PSD Mihai Tudose crede că Mircea Geoană nu are şanse la alegerile prezidenţiale de anul viitor, în ciuda faptului că momentan ocupă o funcţie importantă pe plan internaţional – secretar general adjunct al NATO. ”Când stai prea mult foarte sus, nu prea mai înţelegi ce e pe la noi pe jos”, a declarat Mihai Tudose pentru News.ro. Fostul premier susţine că ”logica normală” ar fi ca Marcel Ciolacu să devină candidatul PSD pentru Cotroceni.

Europarlamentarul PSD Mihai Tudose a fost întrebat, la Strasbourg, dacă îi dă vreo şansă lui Mircea Geoană pentru alegerile prezidenţiale. ”Sincer, nu”, a răspuns Tudose. 

Cât despre faptul că Mircea Geoană ocupă o funcţie înaltă pe plan internaţional – secretar general adjunct al NATO – care-i oferă vizibilitate, Mihai Tudose a răspuns: ”Am înţeles. Dacă vă duceţi în lumea reală şi pomeniţi de secretarul general adjunct al NATO se opreşte câinele din lătrat. Nu le pasă!  Când stai prea mult foarte sus, nu prea mai înţelegi ce e pe la noi pe jos. Este un om redutabil, cu experienţă, cu poziţie, cu tot ce doriţi, dar nu cred”. 

Mihai Tudose susţine că ”logica firească” ar fi ca preşedintele PSD să devină şi candidatul partidului la alegerile prezidenţiale din 2024. 

”Candidatul va fi desemnat de către partid, nu e musai să fie preşedintele PSD. Logica normală aşa ar fi: preşedintele partidului e cel mai bun produs al partidului. Dacă asta va fi decizia partidului, el va fi. Dar să-şi dorească şi el”, a explicat fostul premier. 

Întrebat dacă discută cu Marcel Ciolacu despre prezidenţiale, Mihai Tudose a răspuns: ”Zilnic, nu, dar o dată pe săptămână, da”.
