Pentru prima dată, capodoperele româneşti de la Muzeul Naţional Brukenthal din Sibiu vor fi expuse, începând cu 15 ianuarie, la Muzeul Municipal ‘Regina Maria’ – Palatul Braunstein din Iaşi, aceasta fiind cea mai importantă expoziţie de acest fel organizată în România de muzeul sibian, fiind aşteptaţi zeci de mii de iubitori ai artei până în 15 martie, au anunţat miercuri, într-o conferinţă de presă, directorii celor două muzee, Alexandru Chituţă şi Aurica Ichim conform Agerpres.
„Avem deosebita bucurie ca la începutul anului 2024, împreună cu Muzeul Municipal ‘Regina Maria’ şi cu doamna director Aurica Ichim, Muzeul Naţional Brukenthal să organizeze una dintre cele mai importante expoziţii pe care această instituţie a organizat-o în România. Este cea mai importantă expoziţie de artă românească şi contemporană. (…) 70 de lucrări, 50 de artişti, de la clasic la contemporan, ‘Capodopere’, artă din România. (…) Deschisă cu prilejul Zilei Culturii Naţionale, expoziţia va fi deschisă luni, 15 ianuarie, la Palatul Palatul Braunstein din Iaşi, o expoziţie în parteneriat şi cu sprijinul Ministerului Culturii. (…) Este unul dintre cele mai importante evenimente expoziţionale de artă românească din ultimul secol pe care Moldova l-a găzduit”, a declarat Alexandru Chituţă.
Potrivit acestuia, la Iaşi vor fi expuse şi două lucrări care au legătură cu Iaşiul, printre care şi „un basorelief cu Ion Creangă”.
Este pentru prima dată în ultimii 50 de ani când unele piese părăsesc Brukenthalul, pentru a fi văzute de publicul din alt oraş din România. Transportul tablourilor se face cu pază asigurată de jandarmi, întrucât valoarea capodoperelor depăşeşte câteva milioane de euro, fiind vorba şi de obiecte de artă de tezaur, a spus managerul Alexandru Chituţă.
Vernisajul expoziţiei va avea loc în 14 ianuarie, ora 16,00, potrivit directorului Muzeului Municipal ‘Regina Maria’, Aurica Ichim. Aceasta a precizat că speră ca această expoziţie să atragă 30.000 de vizitatori la Iaşi, la fel ca precedenta organizată de muzeul sibian cu Muzeul Albertina din Austria, care a avut un număr record de vizitatori în 2023.
Expoziţia „Capodopere. Arta din România de la clasic la contemporan. Colecţia Muzeului Naţional Brukenthal” cuprinde aproape 70 de lucrări realizate de 50 de artiştii precum Theodor Aman, Nicolae Grigorescu, Nicolae Tonitza, Ştefan Luchian, Mişu Popp, Gheorghe Pătraşcu, Iosif Iser, Corneliu Baba, Camil Ressu, Herman Maxy, Ion Ţuculescu, Ion Pacea, Horia Bernea, Ion Jalea, Oscar Han, Alin Gheorghiu, Ştefan Câlţia
