70 % din adulții UE sunt vaccinați complet

70 % din populația adultă a Uniunii Europene este vaccinată complet anti-Covid 19, informează Comisia Europeană. Peste 256 de milioane de cetățeni cu vârsta peste 18 ani din țările UE au în prezent schema completă de vaccinare. Pe primul loc se află Malta (90%), urmată de Irlanda, Danemarca, Belgia și Portugalia, cu procentaje între 82% și 86%. Pe ultimele locuri se plasează România (31,9%) și Bulgaria (20%).

În ceea ce privește ponderea vaccinaților cu cel puțin o doză, aceasta este de 75% la nivelul UE. Cifrele variază de la 94% în Portugalia, 90,4% în Franța și 76,7% în Germania, la 32,8% în România și 21,8% în Bulgaria, potrivit datelor Centrului European pentru Prevenirea și Controlul Bolilor.

Pentru comparație în regiunea noastră, Ungaria, Grecia și Cehia au vaccinat dublu față de România, ca segment de populație imunizată.

„Vaccinarea completă a 70 % dintre adulții din UE deja din luna august este o mare realizare. Strategia UE de a avansa împreună dă rezultate și poziționează Europa în avangarda luptei mondiale împotriva COVID-19. Însă pandemia nu s-a încheiat. Este nevoie să facem mai mult. Îi îndemn pe toți cei care pot fi vaccinați să se vaccineze”, a declarat președinta Comisiei Europene, Ursula von der Leyen.
